After the last two weeks of quiet activity we are back with a bang this week! So... where to start? As all the news is in 1:43 scale let's have a look by theme this time around so, starting with Formula One we've had a delivery from BBR Concept43 of the hand built Fisichella driven Ferrari F60 from last year. In kits there's a Fittipaldi FD04 arrived from CP Models whilst from Tameo the first 2010 kit in the shape of the Bahrain GP winning Ferrari F10 of Alonso and Massa. Finally the wait is over for the Tameo hand built Brawn GBP01s promised ages ago with delivery of the Italian GP winner of Barrichello and the Brazil GP version where Button clinched the championship. |
For Le Mans and sports racing fans we have a wide choice. A delivery from Spark never fails and we have seen Le Mans 1953 Porsche 550, 1961 Healey 3000 and two 1993 Porsches along with a Fuji 1000 winning Toyota Celica. The BBR delivery included the matt black Wolfgang Seidel Ferrari 250SWB from the 'Ring 1960 and in the RGM Design range there are two superb Ferrari 250GTOs from the Tourist Trophy 1962. Also hand built are more Ferrari 166MM Semiaerodynamica and Daytona Ferrari 250LMs from MG Model. Automodelli Studio deliver 1:43 Porsche donor kits (resin kits without decals). The new die-cast arrivals from HPI Racing is all Japanese with Nissan Skylines from Le Mans 1995 and the three fabulous looking Toyota GT-Ones from 1998. |
And then we have a little of everything else! Again Spark obliged with their open gullwinged doors version of the Mercedes SLS along with an Aston DB2/4. Something new and different from HPI Racing is a series of hand builts, this first offering in the shape of the beautiful Ford GT. From the house of Alezan has come four new street and concept hand builts, two Fiat Ritmo (should that be two Ritmi?), a Maserati 2.24V and the original Bugatti ID90. Bizarre have popped up with the New Zealand rally winning Toyota Celica and then there's this... new Russian resin 'die-cast' range Dip Models (made for them by Spark) first offering is this totaly weird looking Zis 112 LWB. |

Fan of Ferrari or not, last week's German Grand Prix certainly got the world debating what's right and what's wrong with team orders. We like to think that there should still be a little 'magic' performed in F1 and as all adults know, there's no such thing as magic, it's how the trick is presented to the public! So we look to Hungary for this week's single seater entertainment where the weather forecast is for rain... If you like the rain then you can join Editor Mark over in Belgium for the 2010 Spa 24hrs... Or if you like riding roller-coasters then have a peek at Rally Finland. |
