This unique coupe version of Alfa Romeo’s 33/3 only made a few appearances and on its race debut at Hockenheim started from pole position and was in a commanding lead until a stone broke the windscreen and Vaccarella lost time as he sorted his goggles out, eventually finishing third. The simple kit parts are quite old fashioned with a clean resin body that has the front canard fins moulded in and vacform windows which fit from inside and sit quite deeply. It’s well made though and the hand built model is finished to a high standard and has the decals correctly fitted with the race numbers at odd angles.
