rapidly earning a superb reputation for producing both kits and hand-built
models of not only the highest quality but also of the highest degree
of intricate - exact - detail. This latest creation is a perfect example.
Modestly priced - considering the quality and detail - this Maserati
is one of the finest models we have ever seen. And - thank goodness
- it is of a refreshing subject that has not been over modelled in
ther past. Do we sound as if we're excited - we do? - that's because
we are. |

- Fiat Abarth 2000 Targa Florio 1970 - see reviews page 11 In the
early years of BBR's existence we often wondered whether anyone would
ever come close to their finesse of detail and finish. Now years later
we know that there are and no-one more so than DVA whose finish, attention
to detail, exactness of line and shape and overall 'feel' seems to
us at the moment to lead the field. Their models are not cheap but
if you compared how long (hours!) each takes to make and then costed
one using the labour charge you pay to have your car serviced - you
would find that they are - as indeed are most hand-built models -
a bargain. DVA are currently setting the pace...... |

- p 2 This is a brilliant kit made with great style and attention
to detail. And as we didn't have a photo of the model in built form
- we photographed the components of the kit. We hope that this gives
you an idea of the value of this fine kit which includes dashboards
to enable both right and left hand driver versions to be made - or
either! |

- Rondeau M379 'VSD-Canon' LM 79 page 14 This is a very fine kit with
a wealth of detail like a full engine and opening rear deck. Made
originally (and now!) by Gamma we are indeed saying that all these
Rondeaus are 'Models of the Month' - they are great. |

- see page 2 No we're not trying to sell you vans! Instead what we're
raving about is a set of 1:24th scale decals intended for use on VW
transporters & vans that we think would be superb for decorating paddock
and race circuit scenes. There is a great need for decals of this
type - we think we've found them! |
