BBR’s ref BBG221 - JB Racing Ferrari F360 Monza 2001 - review page 6
An absolutely stunning hand-built that epitomises all that is good about the current art of the hand-built model. Perfect paint finish, perfect decal placement, perfect fitting of ancillary parts and a perfect ‘sit’ giving the model a highly desirable realism.

Marsh Models MM069 - Porsche 917/10 Can-Am ‘72/’73 - review page 5
A brilliant kit which is not only accurate but whch is packed with finely made features like a high detail cockpit and realistic underbody detail in the tail area. This kit - we know from seeing hand-bult examples - builds to look stunning and is a classic example of near-perfect kit creation
.

Ugo Fadini ref FAD016 - Cooper record car - review page 6
We have a feeling that just about every model Ugo Fadini has made since we started nominating ‘Models of the Month’ has earned an award. There’s a simple reason - Ugo’s models are accurate, immaculately made and painted with exquisite finesse. They are miniature gems - quite rightly much valued and sought after and among experienced collectors considered to be among the finest ‘special’ models ever made.

F1 2001 - Formula One Annual - Edited by Nigel Mansell. ISBN0954136802 - £35 - Weight 3.4 kg.
Yes - we know this is not a model - so it’s a book of the month - OK? So what is it? No less than the largest, most lavish, most comprehensive F1 annual yet published. In large brilliantly printed all-colour format it is no less than 674 pages. The contents include a race-by-race survey of 2001 with excellent photographs, driver profiles - all of them! - team profiles which include a race-by-race analysis, a section containing all the F1 statistics since the World Championship started and a huge technical review of the cars of the 2001 season the detail of which is totally mind-boggling. The writing appears fluid and well informed, the layout is easy to follow and the photos are fine from our point of view because in the teams race-by-race section the shots are useable as modelling reference - hopefully one day we’ll get the models!
