| Coinciding neatly with Richard Burns clinching of the 2001 World Rally Championship Driver’s title, this very fine kit of the car in which he won the series arrived at GPM. It is of course the 2001 Subaru Impreza WRC and is complete with decals to model the machine as it appeared on the Monte Carly Rally driven by Burns and Reid. Decals are also included for the cars of Solberg/Mills and Martin/Park. The kit’s body is moulded in Subaru works blue which will mean that some builders will choose not to paint it. Another first class feature is that the wheels are moulded in a realistic-looking gold. Full underbody transmission detail is included as is a very high status cockpit and interior complete with padded roll-cage, fire bottles etc. This appears to be a five star kit from Tamiya - a model well worthy of England’s first ever rally World Champion. | ||
