Have you ever wondered who the talented individuals
are who create the models you see in FSW? Well we met a number
of the manufacturers at the recent Novegro show in Italy. Who
said we just sit here and wait for it to all happen!
Clockwise from the left they are;
Kazuko & Yoshiyuki Abe of Raccoon; Ella, Andrea & Laura
Brianza of ABC; Renato Martella & Massimo Gambari who run
Gamma; Ghizzardi brothers Luca & Ilario who run Tecnomodel
with their father Mario and Ilarios wife Annarita; Vicenzo
Bosica; Gabriele Pantosti of MG Model; Loretta, Milena &
Ivano Chiapatti & Marco Faustini from Racing 43; Valerio
Comuzzi of Arena with Maurizio Bruna of Emmebi & last, but
by no means least, Christina Mazetti & Cesare Tameo of Tameo
Kits.

These amazing pieces are by Italian
manufacturers Promocom.
The models are in 1:8th scale and wherever possible the
correct materials have been used, be it fibre glass, steel
tube,
cast aluminium or plastic.
The engine above is from the Ferrari 126C2 and will be
available built only for approximately £1700. The
complete car (above right) will also be available either
fully built up at approximately £7000 or as a serious
kit project for around £2250.
These should be available by the end of the year and early
in the new year the magnificent 312PB (right) will also
be released as a kit or hand built with prices similar
to the 126C2.
There were plenty of other exciting new items to be seen
in
preparation both at Novegro and a littlecloser to home
at Modelex.
Many of these can be found elsewhere in our colour pages.
