We have two large scale kits taking top billing on the front cover
this issue. The Ferrari Daytona at top left is the 5th placed car
from Le Mans 1973 modelled in 1:12th scale by André-Marie
Ruf under the Titan name (RUFT1201). Alongside the Ferrari is the
2003 McLaren MP4/18 from Studio 27 (STU20154), a car that sadly
didnt race.
Below the McLaren is another 2003 subject, the Pagani Zonda, as
it appeared briefly at Le Mans and superbly captured by Provence
Moulage (PM2849).
Stepping back 40 years we have the AC Cobra which finished 8th on
the Targa Florio in 1963. Marsh Models kit (MM106)
offers the option of any of the works cars and they are also available
built (MM106M146
in this case).

The
vivid yellow machine beneath the Cobra is Pallinos new hand
built (PAL014M) of the Porsche Boxster that was entered for the
1999 Daytona 24 Hours but sadly didnt start. BBR & Arena
have combined forces to bring us some spectacularly liveried subjects.
One such is the spiders web decorated Ferrari 360 from the
2002 French series which is offered as a kit (BBA053) or hand built
(BBA053M).
Look Smart continue to impress with their low cost hand builts and
at bottom right we have the very attractive Lamborghini 350GTV (MRCLS034B).
Finally, if youve ever wondered what goes into a Feeling 43
kit, heres the soon to be released Ferrari 375MM Roi
de Belge (FEL016).
