We’ve gone green with the top of our cover this month to celebrate Bentley’s historic victory at Le Mans. We know we usually only use model photos but surely you’ll let us off this once! Next to the Bentley is another great British marque, Aston Martin and their DB7 styled by Zagato and modelled by Provence Moulage (PM2779).
Below the Aston is one of MR Collections excellent Look Smart range of hand builts, the 1964 Alfa Romeo Giulia Sprint GTC (MRCLS006A). We showed you many of the kit parts for Tameo’s Williams FW11B superkit (TMKWCT87) last issue and now we can see what it all looks like once built. Stunning.

We’ve been crying out for kits of the new Daytona prototypes since the first photos appeared in Autosport and Provence Moulage have picked up the gauntlet with the rather unusual looking (we won’t call it pretty!) Fabcar Porsche (PM2812). The other blue machine to the left of the Fabcar is Renaissance’s model of the 1957 Le Mans Ferrari 500TRC driven by Tavano & Peron and available as either a kit (REN4341B) or hand built (REN4341BM).
At bottom left we have the Ebbro die-cast (EBB43372) of one of the Toyota MR-S cars from the Japanese GT Championship. What a great looking machine! Finally we have BBR’s excellent hand built (BBR134B) Ferrari 365GT4/BB, the first mid-engined production Ferrari.
