Ferrari 712 Watkins Glen 1974 Redman by Marsh Models
- built
Kit available MM281
The final appearance for the 712 Can-Am was at Watkins Glen in the hands of Brian Redman, retiring from the race with rear suspension problems. As with the 1972 version of the car (MM281), that suspension is cleverly modelled in etch including dummy shock absorbers. The car featured large full length fences on the body and these are moulded very thinly on the main casting. The resin parts are, as usual from Marsh, very fine with excellent engraving and the finished model shows that it all goes together very well indeed to create a convincing miniature.

About Marsh Models
Well established maker of high quality 1:43 kits and hand-built models. Kits feature very precisely moulded resin bodies requiring minimal clean up, equally good white metal ancillary parts, very fine photo-etching where necessary, machined wheel rims, bespoke resin tyres and clearly printed decals. Instructions usually a clearly drawn exploded diagram and often include a sample paint chip if the main body colour is an unusual one. Hand-builts beautifully built and detailed, usually from a series of 100 pieces but LE range typically from only 25. Made in England
