The July Reims meeting in 1957 saw a packed programme for race fans with the 12 hour sports car race, F1 and F2 competition. All had healthy grids and those paying attention to the F2 race saw history in the making with the first appearance of the 1.5-litre V6 ‘Dino’ Ferrari which won in the hands of Trintignant. We’ve only found a couple of images of this car in action but from these Jade’s model looks pretty good, with accurately placed decals and small details.

About Jade Miniatures
A well established range of well thought out kits and hand built models of competition cars, mostly from the golden era of the 1950s and 60s. The kits are generally pretty simple with well cast resin bodies, small numbers of resin and white metal ancillaries and a modest amount of etch. In the case of open wheeled subjects, the etch usually includes most or all of the suspension. Hand builts generally well finished. Made in France.
